“It’s Friday and I’m in love.” Big shout out to The Cure for singing a song about how much we love Fridays (while simultaneously proving makeup does not always “enhance beauty” for everyone). It is going to be 80 degrees here in Texas this afternoon, so if you need me, I will be on my patio with this margarita in hand (that counts as Friday night plans right?)
In my ever lasting quest to cook new recipes for dinner, I stumbled into a recipe my husband actually wanted again. When you have a recipe that is requested for a repeat dinner, is easy to make, and delicious, you share (that’s what good friends do).
Gardening is one of my favorite things to do when it starts getting warmer. (You’re going to see me at the next circus; “step right up to see the 29-year-old with the 85-year-old soul”). Despite my older tendencies, gardening is fun; I love being able to add color, freshness, and life to our home (plus, it gives the dogs something to dig up when they’re bored).
The weekend has snuck up on us again (thank goodness). My husband, Matthew, and I work on Saturdays usually, so we try to fit our weekend into our Sundays. I use to be so jealous of people who were off consecutive days in a row with their loves, but with anything, there is always a bright side.
